I attended an event at The Balmoral Hotel on Saturday, organised by my jiu-jitsu club, and it couldn’t have gone better. The place itself is beautiful and has a real sense of occasion about it. The staff were fantastic – friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do. Everything ran seamlessly from start to finish, and the food was spot on. You could tell a lot of care went into making sure the night was enjoyable for everyone. It’s rare to find a venue that delivers across the board like that. I’d definitely recommend The Balmoral to anyone planning an event or looking for somewhere impressive to celebrate.

Beautiful hotel, warm and friendly staff, especially Fiona, the best hotel receptionist we ever met. My husband was in Kingsbridge for a hip replacement, so the Balmoral was most convenient. Fiona looked after me by booking taxis and providing a lovely packed breakfast for the 1st morning as we had to be in the hospital at 7.00 a.m.

Booked in for New Year with friends, dinner bed and breakfast and bought tickets for Carolyn Stewart New Year’s Party, hotel and bar are nice, room was adequate nothing fancy, food in the restaurant was tasty and good portions, had to pay a damage deposit of £100 for two rooms which was a bit weird, never asked for that in any of the hotels we’ve stayed in N Ireland, could have been connected to a wedding which was on that day but we had no connection to the wedding, Carolyn Stewart was brilliant and the saxophone player on before her really made the night, special mention to the bar staff friendly and efficient, lights switched on at 12.50 and asked to leave was a tad abrupt after the money we’d spent and dulled the happy vibe, breakfast was good but when checking out the receptionists virtually ignored us which was unfortunate and left a bit of a bad taste, all in all it was a good night with good friends.
